Lodgings

The Auction has attracted out of the area and out of state participants who may require lodgings. For those wishing to stay overnight in the area, we have arranged a special rate of $109 + tax & fees per night for stays between 17-24 October 2017 at the 'Carlsbad by the Sea Resort.' The resort is located at 850 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011.

By personal reports of past participants, the rooms are judged to be clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Immediately across the street is a large outlet discount shopping mall and the beach is less than a mile to the west. Multiple reasonably priced local restaurants are within easy walking distance of the resort. For the really adventurous who might wish to bring adult children and grandchildren Legoland is about a mile away. There is much to do in North County San Diego if you have a few days to spend here. Particulars regarding the accommodations are presented below.

Thank You

CCRS has many individuals and organizations to thank for providing specimens to the Auction. Many Rosarians have provided cuttings and plant materials from commercial nurseries, public gardens and special collections not otherwise available to the general public.
